Part of the more nomadic tribe of humanity, Dean believes a boat anchored ashore, while safe, is a tragedy, as this denies the boat its purpose.

Dean normally works as a strategist, advisor, operator, mentor, coder, and janitor for several technology companies, open-source communities, and startups.

Otherwise, he's on a hunt for some good bean or leaf to enjoy a good read on some newly (re)discovered city or walking some roads less taken.

Introducing Kubernetes Community Days Australia!

Kubernetes Community Day (KCD) Australia 2023 is a community-organized tech conference that gathers adopters and technologists from open-source and cloud-native communities for the purpose of education, collaboration, and networking. KCD Australia is supported by the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF).

The Event will take place on the 22nd of August 2023 at the ICC Sydney. The event is for all levels, whether you are a beginner or veteran, a junior developer or CTO, there will be plenty of great talks for you to attend and good folks to network with.
